UCD Festival 2025 – Inspiring Future Engineers! 🚀

Our team was thrilled to take part in this year’s UCD Festival at the Engineering & Technology Zone in the O’Brien Centre for Science! With 10 team members involved, we showcased our hands-on demo "Make Your Own Covid Vaccine!", introducing visitors to RNA-LNP vaccine synthesis using our Minanoform microfluidic platform!

From setup at 9:30 AM to a packed afternoon of engagement, our team covered everything—from device operation and scientific explanation to interactive kids' activities and social media. A huge shoutout to Tianyu, Allen, Jia, Luhan, Mingzhi, Masih, Yixin, Yihe, Nan, and Laura for their incredible teamwork!

It was heartwarming to hear children say, "I want to be an engineer when I grow up!"—a true reminder of why we love sharing science with the public. From colourful fluids to microfluidic chips, we brought nanomedicine to life for all ages.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, and got curious. Trying something new is never easy—but the rewards were more than worth it!
